As almost everyone knows, NASA successfully landed a rover named Spirit on Mars back on January 3. In spirit of this exploration, I am launching the "Spirit of Mars Graphic Contest". Using actual images from Spirit (NASA press release images and Mars Panorama)... see what kind of graphic representation you can composit in the graphic software of your choice.



Either post them onto the site or email them to smo@shawnolson.net. Send files as JPEGs, 400 pixels wide at 72dpi. There is no cash price for the contest, but I will send the best three to NASA and see if they post them on their site.
